American actress/martial artist Amy was raised in the wild west of Wyoming, as daughter of 5 times world champion kickboxer David Johnston. She has been involved in martial arts her entire life and studied dance and gymnastics as teenager. She gets her first martial arts lessons from her father when she was six years old. She's trained in a wide variety of different martial arts styles. Her father taught her “the progressive style”, which is a blend of kenpo, taekwondo, kung fu, kickboxing and arnis. She's also trained in styles as wushu, wing chun and jiu jitsu. She tries to keep evolving in martial arts with her father as role model for her. She competes at tournaments around the country and won numerous first places and Grand Champion Awards in forms. 

She was invited to perform at the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame Extravaganza for Kung Fu Magazine. She made her TV debut in ''Karate Kids Workout'' (2005) when she was thirteen. She uses her abundance of talent into acting and stunt performances, in order to become a better actress. She moves to Hollywood on her own in order to pursue a career in martial arts film when she was eighteen.

She made her action movie debut as Daisy next to Anna Yosin, Michelle Tomlinson and Alan Smythee in the short martial arts movie ''Kung Fu Femmes, Part 4'' (2010). 


She plays Elisha Davenport next to Drinie Aguilar, Elizabeth Krasick and Natalie Neurauter, Neil Fernandez, Reed Whorton and Amanda Ahmad in the short action movie ''Angering the Gods'' (2011).


She plays Molly in this story about Mickey (played by Marc Fajardo) who has thirst for revenge, which leads him to a rollicking adventure of jealousy and love, after a pesky insect interrupts his spaghetti meal in ''Mickey & the Fly'' (2012).


She plays Gloria in this story about two abducted women who are forced to fight each other and 50 other women using their bare hands and feets in ''Raze'' (2013).


She plays Adeline in one episode of the action TV serie ''Clandestine (2014)'' and plays Target in one episode of the action TV serie ''K.C. Undercover'' (2015).

Her raw street fighting skills attracts the attention of Japanese karate champion Oshima (played by Steven Dasz). He recruits and trains women to fight in the vicious female underground martial arts tournament also known as “The Kumite”. Jane is ready to fight against the deadliest female fighters in the world after months of rigorous preparation, including Ling (played by Jenny Wu) the Chinese apprentice of Oshima's enemy. The fights at the tournament decided who becomes the best female fighter on the planet.


She plays an soldier in this story about a hero (played by Coty Galloway) which is told by narrator Kevin Brueck in the short action movie ''The 10 Deadliest Special Ops Tactics!'' (2016).


She plays Ken's senior student in this story where the long-presumed dead Charlie Nash back is, who's attacking legendary Street Fighter champions for mysterious reasons in the action TV Mini-Series ''Street Fighter: Resurrection'' (2016).
